September Sunday!

Here it is, September, already!  It didn't seem to come to my realization until this morning when I woke up and finally we are receiving steady rains most likely as
a result from Hurricane Isaac.  I looked out the kitchen window as I was making our
coffee and the overcast sky reminded me that autumn is almost in our laps now.

Its Sunday morning, of course, and several of us are awake, speaking in low
voices, some preparing eggs and toast, some still trying to grab a few more minutes
of sleep-eye, and one is sitting here sipping her coffee and pecking on the keys.
We will be getting ready for Mass in just a bit.  Danny is setting up for the Mass...
the bread and wine.  We will have to be there a bit early.

Teresa's fiance, David, and her take turns going to one another's parent's homes on
the weekends since he lives a couple of hours south of Bloomington.  So, last night,
was their first meeting with the married couple chosen to work with them during
the Pre-Cana classes.  They happen to be meeting with a couple that I know.  They
also happen to meeting with the couple who offer NFP classes in our area!  :) They
are a wonderful couple who are converts to the Catholic Faith in recent years, as well.
So, long story short, they are up and about and it is entertaining to listen to the funny
little conversations they are having while in the kitchen...chats, getting used to how
the other is about different things in life.  Their ways are truly refreshing and sweetly
innocent.

Later today, we'll have a big meal.  I slow cooked some pork roast last night.  I
pulled it and put it in some sauce to marinate overnight.  It'll be fun. Also, Teresa
and several of us women have an appointment to go to see her try on a few
wedding gowns.  She invited her attendants.  She asked Crista to be her Maid of
Honor, as they were always very close growing up.  I think we'll see if my sister
can come just for fun.  I will probably tear up a bit.  :)  Its one of those things,
ya know.

It is about time to get dressed now, so I'll sign off.  Have a Holy Sunday!

  2. April 6th. Right after Easter the church will be filled with Easter lillies! :) That will be so nice. They needed to have their classes completed and after Lent too. Her dress is so beautiful! We had a good time watching her today. :)
